Why you should “buy better forever” ?

Pamela: I was cleaning out my closet when I realized I had a lot of out-of-date clothing. I was astounded by how quickly fashion changes. It made me wonder, "Are there any significant consequences?" I did some research and discovered that everyone is linked through fashion, sometimes without even realizing it. Fashion has a significant environmental and social impact. Fast fashion has the greatest environmental impact, whereas sustainable fashion is created in a way that protects and preserves the environment for future generations. This clothing fashion is also concerned with quality. To clarify, this clothing begins when the factory decides on the fabric and ends when it reaches your closet, lasting a long time after it was purchased.

What if everyone commits to buy better, sustainable and timeless apparels. Don’t you think we can save the environment, money while flaunting elegance & style with timeless apparels. That’s when we came up with the “Buy Better Forever”. To make people aware of fashion consumption & production that will inspire them to buy better, ethical, and sustainable clothes for a brighter tomorrow.

Our approach is to create a healthy ecosystem between the need for and the style of fashion apparels by empowering consumers towards environmentally conscious buying. We believe that by empowering consumers towards conscious buying, we can create a more sustainable world where everyone can shine.

Why should we commit to buy better and sustainable?

The fashion industry has one of the largest environmental footprints, but did you know that cotton, which we are all familiar with, requires 15,000 liters of water to grow for a pair of jeans? High water consumption, 57,100 tonnes of CO2 pollution from chemical treatments used in dyeing and preparation, 18.6 tonnes of clothing deposits in landfills, and 3.2 billion trees cut down, causing deforestation, are all harmful to the environment. Only about 20% of clothing is recycled or reused, while vast quantities of fashion products end up in landfills. It appears very unfortunate that the industry with the greatest impact on human life has a negative impact on our planet. That is precisely why I believe in sustainable clothing.

How exactly buying better will benefit us?

  • Environmentally friendly in the following ways:
    • Less water is required.
    • Produces goods using renewable energy.
    • Natural resources are conserved, and the carbon footprint is reduced.
    • Uses recycled/eco-friendly fabrics in their clothing, which eliminates unethical disposal and reduces deforestation.
  • Supports fair labor practises because labor is an asset
  • We have always seen laborers struggle in their working environment. Physical and verbal abuse are the most common aspects of their working environment. We will never forget the Rana Plaza disaster, which reflects their poor health and safety standards. Sustainable clothing would provide the best working environment for our employees, including fair wages, health care, and humane working conditions.

  • Sustainable clothing does not drain your bank account.
  • A fast fashion cloth costs $10, whereas a higher quality, sustainable cloth costs $30. But did you know that a cheap cloth lasts only a year and a sustainable cloth lasts at least 5 years? We can calculate the worth of clothing by dividing its cost by its lifespan. As a result, the yearly cost of a low quality cloth is $10/1= $10, whereas the value of a superior quality cloth is $30/5= $6. Which is obviously less than a cheap cloth. You can save money by wearing fashionable clothing.

  • A brighter and more prosperous future for future generations
  • Sustainable clothing protects our environment, providing a better life for future generations. Our children and grandchildren will be able to make the best use of resources, allowing them to meet their needs and thrive.

  • Sustainable clothing reintroduces us to our closets
  • Our clothes are recycled and reused in sustainable clothing. Consider a piece of clothing that we were bored to wear again, or perhaps you love the top but it has worn off and you need to throw it away, but it returns in the most beautiful fashion wear without harming any new usage of material and still looking its best. Isn't that incredible?

    CONCLUSION

By buying better, we can save the planet, save the lives of humans, and stop the slaughter of animals for fashion. As we switch toward sustainable clothing, we can make conscious choices, raise awareness, and be the change. Now that you know the importance of "buying better forever," join our movement by signing up now.
